DRAWING
In a positive and
supportive environment, a
professional artist will teach
students the fundamentals of drawing
while encouraging personal creative
expression. Students will use a
variety of drawing materials such as
charcoal, oil & soft pastel,
watercolor pencil, graphite and
colored pencil. Projects specially
developed for these age groups
include exercises in proportion,
composition, light source and
perspective. Students will work
from observation and pull imagery
from their imaginations as they
learn to develop their own artistic
language. This fun-filled drawing
class will send your young artist
home with a head full of creativity
and confidence!
Additional materials
and projects are planned for Apr/May
session.

CLAY & SCULPTURE

Students will learn
basic sculpting and construction
techniques as they explore the world
of art in three dimensions! They
will refine their observational and
problem-solving skills while
establishing a personal artistic
process by discovering new ways of
combining and applying materials.
We’ll take a look at 3D works by
other artists, and make super fun
sculptures out of a variety of
materials including air-drying clay,
paint, polymer clay, wire, board,
found objects and plaster of Paris.
