In a positive and supportive environment, a professional artist will instruct young artists on the foundations of art while encouraging personal creative expression.  Students will use a variety of drawing materials including charcoal, ink pastel, graphite, conte and colored pencil.  As students learn to develop their own artistic language, they will work from observation and pull imagery from their imagination.  This high-energy drawing class will send your young artist home with a head full of creativity and confidence!

Intro to Drawing for Kids  NEW

This class was developed for the young, yet serious artist who has proven desire to hone his/her drawing skills.  The curriculum focuses specifically on the elements of drawing while building techniques with a variety of materials.

Prerequisite:  12 months of Exploring Art classes or instructor permission

$79/month* (includes all materials)

 

*Monthly fees are based on four classes occurring in one month. For months in which a class occurs five times, the class prorata is multiplied x5. If a class falls on a holiday, the student will not be charged for that week. No make-up class is necessary.
