Mixed Media / 2D Design

Students will experiment and begin by drawing and painting from a variety of source material: direct observation, memory, imagination, photography and/or media images. Then, students will use the resulting drawings and paintings as a starting point to make new pieces. Traditional and nontraditional uses of painting and drawing materials will be encouraged. Mixed media and collage with the use of canvas, paper, paints, stamps, tissue paper, inks, oil pastels, text and samples of personal photography if desired.

*Monthly fees are based on four classes occurring in one month. For months in which a class occurs five times, the class prorata is multiplied x5. If a class falls on a holiday, the student will not be charged for that week. No make-up class is necessary.
