Explore the fascinating lives of famous artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Mary Cassatt, and Edgar Degas. Learn their histories,  how they influenced each other, and how their work transformed and evolved.  At the same time, experience drawing and painting--making their techniques and styles your own. Learn to draw the figure through Picasso's Old Guitarist; painting with paper  in the  later style of  Matisse; or paint a child's portrait in the lovely Impressionistic style of Mary Cassatt. You will find yourself  using a wide range of techniques and mediums, such as, watercolor, oil pastels, graphite, and acrylics.  Be surprised at what you can create, and how it will inspire you! No experience necessary.

*Monthly fees are based on four classes occurring in one month. For months in which a class occurs five times, the class prorata is multiplied x5. If a class falls on a holiday, the student will not be charged for that week. No make-up class is necessary.
