Printmaking
teens/adults
During this class, students will learn
basic non-press printmaking techniques
through woodblock or linocut relief
printmaking, monotype, screen and
collograph printmaking. Students will
establish a high level of personal
craftsmanship when learning to edition
prints. Students will discuss and
observe the work of master printmakers
and then develop imagery through their
understanding about the possibilities
or limitations of a given media. This
class will encourage broad
understanding of general art making
techniques and directly improve
student abilities in other art
disciplines, particularly drawing and
painting.
