Born and raised in Colorado, Brittany has done art since she was very little in the form of doodling and coloring. She started studying art when she was 13, an interest that was fueled and supported by her mother who made every creative medium readily available to her. As she grew up, she was inspired to write and illustrate her own stories by books, movies, and video games. Visual storytelling became a passion for Brittany, and she continues to make it her career.
Largely a self-taught artist through high school, she spent most of her days filling up sketchbooks, painting, drawing, and dabbling in digital art. In community college, Brittany spent a year studying Multimedia Graphics Design before moving on to Fine Arts. During her time in community college, she took a class on Video Game Design and created her own game from scratch! Already interested in the game development industry, this was a turning point for her and shortly after she packed up and moved out to Washington for school.
Brittany transferred to DigiPen Institute of Technology, and is currently working towards her BFA in Digital Art and Animation. She studies color theory, anatomy, composition, design, and many other topics of the artistic psychology of game development. Brittany is currently a Junior at Digipen, pursuing a career in concept art.
