REFLECTIONS WORKSHOPS 2017
Let our experienced art professionals guide your artist through the entire artistic process!
Our Reflections workshops are specially formulated to support and guide students ages 6-18 in preparing a work of visual art for submission to the national PTA Reflections Program.* We take students through the artistic process step by step, from brainstorming ideas like an artist to translating their own ideas into a tangible and original creation, all focused around this year's Reflections' theme, "Within Reach".
Students will be amazed with what they can create when they approach the process in a systematic way - we just facilitate that inner-discovery process.
During our intensive, three-hour workshop, students will have a chance to plan and prepare a work for entry into the Reflections Program along with their required "artist statement", all materials provided. This means no buying extra materials or extra clean-up for parents!
We hope, by offering these workshops, to diminish the possible intimidation factor of creating a work to be formally judged, and that more students might participate in the program if they feel they have a guide showing them how to navigate the process.
*Please note that we are in no way affiliated with or sponsored by the PTA Reflections Program.
