Parking
Parking at the Work Lofts has become very limited. As a convenience to you, we are now conducting all drop-offs and pick-ups in three designated areas outside the building so you can avoid the hassle of parking altogether. Your student's instructors will be waiting for them at their assigned zone for drop-off and will escort them and stay with them at the same zone for pick-up. The pick-up and drop-off times are listed below. For those of you with younger students who you wish to personally walk upstairs to their classroom, please note the classroom drop-off and pick-up times listed below.

Student Photos
We'll be snapping a few photos throughout the camps of "artists in action" to share on our website, Instagram, and Facebook page. No names referenced. You may choose to include your student or opt out. Preview this year's online scrapbook here.
Extreme Heat or Power Outage
In the event of extreme heat or a power outage impacting our studio, we may adjust opening/closing times or close entirely to avoid putting students and/or staff in an unsafe situation. If closure (camp cancellation) is uncertain, please check the announcements on our STUDENT RESOURCES page to confirm camp status before coming in.
If we need to cancel or delay the camp start time, you will be notified via email immediately upon making that decision.

Helpful Tips
PROCESS OVER PRODUCT
Please remind your student that each lesson is designed to teach a particular concept or technique with the primary focus being on learning, practice, and having fun...less emphasis is placed on perfecting a finished piece so no need to stress. Each four-day camp will target the completion of three to four projects. Each Friday Pottery camp will complete one hand-built project and one wheel-thrown item.
BE PUNCTUAL
Please make every effort to arrive on time to pick up and drop off your student. Students whose parents arrive later than 10 minutes past the camp's scheduled end time will automatically be signed up for the Noon - 1pm lunch hour (following morning camps) with a $20/day drop-in fee. A $10 fee will be charged for afternoon camp students who have not been picked up by 4:10 PM, plus $1 per every minute following.
PROPER ATTIRE
MUSEO Art Academy is not responsible for damaged clothing. Your student should dress appropriately for working in an artistic environment. They will most likely get a little messy and some of the media we work with may stain.
MISSED DAYS
If you know in advance that your student will be missing a day of camp, please communicate that directly to your instructor so that they may plan your student’s projects accordingly. Missed days cannot be credited or made up.
