As an artist with an itchy finger, Gavin possesses a wide variety of proficiency in the arts and spends most of his time learning new skills and techniques. He believes art is one of the best mediums for self-expression and communication. Picking up a pencil at the young age of 6, he began to understand and learn his creativity in an exciting way that has continued to this day. Gavin continues to practice art in all mediums. He primarily focuses on digital art as he transitions his studies to Video Game Design, specifically conceptual art. Gavin is excited to be developing an art style he can call his own.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Gavin went to University of California Davis and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Studio Art. There he discovered his passion and discipline in professional art, primarily focusing on sculpture near the end of his term. After his studies, he worked at a wedding and event company in Napa, where he created numerous large-scale custom paintings and graphics. Some have even been displayed at Bottlerock!  Now he attends Lake Washington Institute of Technology to further his studies in Video Game Design.

Gavin previously danced on a competitive urban dance team for 6 years in California. He frequently plays video games and watches anime, which helps him get new and fresh ideas for his next projects. Gavin is excited to teach the next generation the powerful language and creativity of art!
