Kellie Steinbeigle-Harmon
[email protected] Kellie has been creating for as long as she can remember: from decorating birthday cakes and creating paper dolls to photography, writing, and even illustrating her own children’s books as an elementary student. As an adult, her passion for the arts and creativity only continues to grow! Kellie studied Visual Arts at Brigham Young University and graduated in 2012 with an emphasis in Illustration. She loves to create characters with personality, illustrate playful scenes for children, study the way things work, and is constantly teaching herself new methods of creating. Kellie discovered her love of teaching art while working at Museo in 2014. Though she has since moved to Utah, she continues teaching art classes in her home, and is excited to be instructing with Museo once again! Along with illustrating and teaching, Kellie enjoys exploring the natural world, writing, learning languages, seeing the good in the world, and traveling with her husband and adorable puppy, Ollie. “The vast amount of art around us astounds me! I love to find the beauty in a simple sunset, a lazy cat, a slimy snail, an architectural wonder, antique machinery, color palettes, a majestic forest… they all capture my interest and curiosity!” She is currently working with author Katie Storey to illustrate their first children’s book together, scheduled to come to market in July 2021. |
