Museo Art Academy is an award-winning leader in visual arts education programs for kids and teens. At Museo, it is our goal to cultivate creative confidence and individual expression in each and every student. We have built a solid foundation of programming in the Greater Puget Sound's Eastside, and we're now growing into some new and exciting areas.

Sales & Customer Service Associate
Part-Time or Full-Time
We're currently hiring multiple Sales & Customer Service Associates. This is a client-facing role, assisting prospective and existing clients throughout their journey with us. The ideal candidate possesses an outgoing, can-do personality and enjoys providing an exceptional customer experience. Qualified candidates must be reliable and possess strong skills in sales, customer service, and communication.
We'll be hiring two individuals whose combined shifts will cover weekdays and weekends. Exact days/hours of each position can be created based on candidates’ availability as long as the necessary time blocks are fully covered.  

Required:
  • 3+ years in a sales or customer service role
  • Exceptional sales and customer services skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability and desire to work around kids and teens
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
  • Team mindset
  • Diplomatic attitude and solution-oriented
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Technologically savvy, ability to learn new computer programs

Desired but not required:
  • General knowledge of visual art making process (including drawing, painting, ceramics, and mixed media)
  • 3+ years in an administrative role
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop

Administrative Assistant (Programs Coordinator)
Part-time or Full-time
As Adminstrative Asistant / Programs Coordinator, you’ll be ensuring that our programming continues to run effectively and efficiently across multiple locations. We’re looking for an enthusiastic “can-do “candidate who loves working with a team to ensure optimal success. You'll collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate all programming, ensuring that our team has everything needed in order to fulfill our company’s standards for excellence. 

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage scheduling for Museo programming and staff members
  • Establish, manage, and coordinate programming at a variety of local schools and in our studios.
  • Coordinate the efficient flow of materials and curricula across multiple class locations.
  • Manage studio interns to effectively prep materials and general programming needs.
  • Act as the communications liaison between multiple departments to ensure programming success. 
  • Assist with general studio/office duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • 2-4yr college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Enthusiastic team player. Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively.
  • Impeccable communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must be computer savvy. Able to learn new computer programs quickly, and comfortable working with multiple online and software programs.
  • Self-driven and proactive. Able to work independently, and always looking to improve upon company goals.
  • Organized with exceptional detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple schedules
  • General knowledge of the visual art making process including drawing, painting, ceramics, and mixed media (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation, able to commute to multiple locations on the Eastside.

Art Instructor
Part-time
We're currently hiring multiple instructors to teach a variety of classes, camps, workshops, events, and parties at our Issaquah studio, Redmond classrooms and throughout the Eastside region. Areas of opportunity may be selected and combined as instructor availability permits (ranging from roughly 4 hrs/wk to 20 hrs/wk). 

Our current and immediate need is for a Sunday instructor to teach both studio classes and parties. Hours are 10:15 am - 2:00  pm (or ending at 6:00 pm depending if party slots book).

Additionally, we have several part-time teaching opportunities starting in the fall including weekday morning(s) and/or evening(s) as well as weekends.

Qualifying candidates will possess the following:
- Proficiency in illustration, acrylics, watercolor and clay hand-building
- Working knowledge of art elements and design principles
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching visual arts to kids/teens
- Effective classroom management skills
- BA or BFA in education, final art or equivalent education/experience
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Positive attitude, team player
- Enjoy working with children and teens

Compensation is competitive, DOE. We encourage highly qualified candidates to recommend the rate they feel is fair and representative of their ability and performance.
