Heidi Bennick is multimedia illustrator and designer based in the PNW. She is drawn to a diverse range of art, specializing in graphic design, digital illustration, drawing, painting, printmaking and ceramics.
Developing a passion for empathy-based design and accessibility through art, Heidi completed her BA in illustration with minors in Graphic Design and Marketing at George Fox University. She pursues art as a vessel for advocacy while providing safe spaces for thought and conversation.
This communal aspect of art led Heidi to explore a mixture of teaching and graphic design at Museo, and she works as an instructor and marketing manager.
In her personal work, Heidi is heavily inspired by the figure, old-fashioned book illustration and vintage Asian matchbox designs. If she is not working in the studio, Heidi is likely spending her free time geeking out over fonts on grocery store packaging or making homemade gelato.
