Art Instructor (full-time)


MUSEO Art Academy is an award-winning leader in visual arts education programs for kids and teens. At MUSEO, it is our goal to cultivate creative confidence and individual expression in each student. We've built a solid foundation of programming in the Greater Puget Sound's Eastside, and we're now growing into some new and exciting areas.

OPEN POSITION: 

​Art Instructor (full-time)

Location: Issaquah, WA (in person)
​The full-time instructor will teach a selection of weekly in-person art classes for kids and/or teens at our downtown Issaquah studios. Our class offerings include, but are not limited to General Art, Drawing, Painting, Clay, and Manga.

Qualifying candidates will possess the following:
  • Proficiency in one or more class types listed above
  • Working knowledge of art elements and design principles
  • Minimum four years of experience teaching visual arts to kids and/or teens (as a lead instructor)
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Outgoing enthusiastic personality
  • Positive attitude, team player, reliable, punctual
  • Proficiency in pottery wheel and ceramics is a plus

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and proven ability. PTO, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision plan.
