Apply to be a Museo Art Academy intern! We are looking for two students 12 years-old or older who can be professional, work hard, and aren't afraid of getting their hands a little dirty. In turn, under the mentor-ship of one of our directors, our interns will gain real-world work experience, build their resumes, become more involved here at Museo, and earn monetary credits towards their Museo account.

WINTER 2017 INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
Important Dates: The application Deadline is 1/27/17, students selected for an internship will be contacted no later than 2/1/17. Once interns have been selected, they will be asked to sign a contract agreeing to this commitment, as well as a behavioral agreement.
Length of Internship: Our internship program is a three month commitment. Interns are required to work a minimum of 1 hour per week, during their 3 month commitment. Interns are also asked to make their best effort to attend any additional community events that MAA may be hosting. (For example, assisting instructors in running an art activity during Art Walk in Issaquah.) We are happy to make exceptions to this scheduling, in the event of illness or prior family commitments.
Internship Responsibilities: Our internship program is designed to allow our students to get hands on, real world experience in a business environment. Interns will be asked to assist in a range of responsibilities including: assisting instructors in the classroom, participating in marketing events, promoting studio up keep, assembling marketing materials, processing and photographing student artwork, interacting with other Museo students and clients and promoting the company brand in a positive light.
Credit: Since our internship is a big commitment, we're offering a credit program that interns can partake in. We allow interns to work in exchange for credit towards their studio classes. Each hour of an intern's work is the equivalent of $10 per hour studio credit. Intern's work hours can be totaled up at the end of each month and be applied the next month's studio tuition. (For example, credit acquired in February will be applied to March tuition.) The maximum credit that a student can earn is the equivalent of the studio tuition for the month (Generally $95.00) .
