MUSEO Art Academy is an award-winning leader in visual arts education programs for kids and teens. At MUSEO, it is our goal to cultivate creative confidence and individual expression in each student. We've built a solid foundation of programming in the Greater Puget Sound's Eastside, and we're now growing into some new and exciting areas.

YEAR-ROUND POSITION:

Saturday Studio Assistant

Location: Issaquah, WA (in person)
​
As Studio Assistant, you’ll be ensuring that our classes and events run effectively and efficiently. We’re looking for an enthusiastic “can-do” candidate who loves working with a team to ensure a rich and rewarding learning experience for our students.  
 
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage and maintain art supplies in the studio. Coordinate with art Instructors to ensure that required materials are readily available and in working order.
  • Photograph, upload, and catalogue student artwork photos to a database. 
  • Supervise younger students when moving from one studio space location to another (walking from classroom area to restrooms, water fountains, etc.)
  • Light studio cleaning. Ensuring studio spaces are tidy after student use.
  • Process client inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with general studio/office duties as needed.
 
Requirements:
  • Age 16 or older
  • 1-2 years work experience preferred
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Enthusiastic team player. Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable working with children.
  • Self-driven and proactive. Able to work independently.
  • General knowledge of visual art making processing including drawing, painting, ceramics and mixed media (preferred but not required).
 
Working Hours:
Saturdays, 10am - 2pm
Additional weekday evening hours available

Pay:
$15-17/hour D.O.E. Paid sick leave.
